In this October 2007 photo supplied by the Independent Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force, Tusker, the towering 50 year old bull is seen at a lodge in Kariba. Tusker was shot Sunday Jan. 6 2008 at Charara camp on the shores of Lake Kariba, 370 kilometres northwest of Harare. Witnesses reported drunken youths taunting the elephant by throwing bottles, lightning fireworks, flashing car lights, hooting and even plucking hairs from the animals tail and slapping its rump.
