Michael Vick's new salary: 12 cents an hour

Michael Vick has told Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank that he is washing pots and pans for 12 cents an hour while serving his prison sentence. He's also staying in shape by playing in prison yard football games.

Media Coverage Of An America In Crisis

Here are the number of times, according to NEXIS, that various topics have been mentioned in the media over the past thirty days:

"Yoo and torture" - 102
"Mukasey and 9/11" -- 73
"Yoo and Fourth Amendment" -- 16
"Obama and bowling" -- 1,043
"Obama and Wright" -- More than 3,000 (too many to be counted)
"Obama and patriotism" - 1,607
"Clinton and Lewinsky" -- 1,079

And the winner is: Barack Obama's subliminal lack of patriotism.

Ganja!

Written by John Denver, Bill Danoff and Taffy Nivert, Denver had a smash hit with it in 1971 (#2 on the Billboard chart). Toots & the Maytals recorded their own version of it in 1974 for In The Dark. Toots & The Maytals actually have had more #1 smashes in Jamaica than even Bob Marley.

The $81-billion submarine pushed by Sen. Joseph Lieberman, presumably to fight al-Qaida’s navy.
